series

Fiction bigger than a single story or literary part.

Series are multiple short stories set in one existence, themed anthologies, ongoing audio episodes and whatever else I think to create with some cellophane continuity.

The year's 2038, and the distinction between purpose and function of humans and machines is unnervingly distorted.

UK Capital, London sees new artificial systems hastily approved and installed in all areas of its commercial industries and society. Systems for transport. Machines for learning. Machines for pleasure. Much of the city's population, however, have grown tired of the evolution. A noticeable percentage now actively protest the course set for total human replacement.

Refunds for Machines is six stories, set in the same '38, same dividing London.

For six years, Alice Second Name non-disclosed was a self-recruited 'serious phenomenon investigator'.

Finding affected persons through forums, she worked multiple continents, looking to answer and explore incidences, sightings and connections yet-to-be explained. Many cases were unnerving, all were uniquely intriguing and so, Alice is now producing an archive. She talks into a microphone, revisiting each experience through personal recollection, notes, interviews, photographs and footage she's held onto.

ghosts is an episodic audio series.
